Russian embassy in US asks to guarantee no sanctions on food supplies

MOSCOW, Jul 28 (PRIME) -- The Russian embassy in the U.S. has urged the country to guarantee exemption of food and fertilizer supplies from sanctions, the embassy said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Thursday.

"We are urging the U.S. authorities… to take clear steps guaranteeing exclusion of Russian supplies of food and fertilizers from direct and collateral sanctions restrictions," the embassy said.

Russia will fulfill all liabilities on export deals on agriculture products, the statement read.
